I couldn't think of anything better than finishing my degree and doing 6 months on board a tall ship. But it's so expensive! And then that poor girl died on the Picton Castle and I'm a little glad I decided on more schooling.Ellie Fishhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14944114068485993012noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-36257336.post-66744195180639713992010-07-07T23:10:41.758-03:002010-07-07T23:10:41.758-03:00Finally! It sounds like it was cool, even if it was a little anticlimactic for you.

I got to see ships in the harbour this weekend too...except it was the tall ships, not warships, but they were pretty cool. Unfortunately, I went down to see them in the evening (when it had dropped from 40C to, oh, maybe 35C) not knowing that the tours of the ships all ended at 6, so I didn't actually get to go on any. Although, you can book trips on some of them to be part of the crew for a week or something like that - maybe I'll have to check it out. I don't think I'd likely see the Queen, though. :-)Debnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-36257336.post-1840209505895087972010-07-06T21:44:21.884-03:002010-07-06T21:44:21.884-03:00How exciting to have been there!
